Support Zoey's Fight through Breast Cancer

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read, and possibly donate, to my mother, Zoey. My name is Ashley and I am her youngest daughter. She also has two other children, my sister (Veronica) and our older brother (Bobby), and a total of 6 grandchildren (4 boys and 2 girls). They are her pride and joy!

On August 24th, Zoey went in for a yearly mammogram in Corpus. They did a biopsy on a suspicious mass and said she had cancer. We then traveled to MD Anderson, in Houston on September 20th-22nd to get a specific diagnosis and plan. Zoey was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. She started treatments on September 30th and will continue am aggressive regimen that targets her specific tumor for the next year, or longer.

Zoey has moved in with my fiancé and me so we can help take care of her. Ups and downs, we love having Zoey at our home, and have already gone through so many happy and sad moments. We stay strong, together.

My mom and I travel to Houston every weekend, since September, for her treatments. We have been able to cover expenses for the most part, and try to come and go in the same day (when applicable) to save money, but it is starting to take a toll on our finances.

My mom is doing her best to stay positive and strong, and has a huge support system from her family and friends. However, she is starting to worry about how she will continue to pay for all her monthly payments, medications, travel, lodging, etc.

I want to make sure she can get through the rest of this battle with peace of mind that her financial needs are met and can focus on her health.
