Help Zory Pagán Attend Her Living Legend Award Ceremony

- From Chris Owens ,,,,,Our dear friend Zory Pagán a has been selected to be inducted and exalted as a Living Legend of Surfing in her native home country of Puerto Rico! The "Living Legends Nomination and Selection Committee" as well as the Puerto Rican surfing community are very proud of Zory's successful and exemplary accomplishments as a Woman Surfer,Athlete ,Surf Instructor and successful business woman. Zory's trajectory and valuable accomplishments are part of the Surfing History of Puerto Rico and part of the legacy crafted by exemplary Woman Surfers who have greatly contributed to the Sport as well as to the Puerto Rican surfing Society. Furthermore, Zory greatly contributed to the rich historic chapter written by the "Asociacion de Mujeres Surfistas de Puerto Rico".Her selection received an unanimous vote from the "Living Legends Nomination and Selection Committee" composed of four appointed members who are former Puerto Rico Surfing Federation Presidents as well as PR Olympic Committee members.. Zory's other surfing accomplishments:As a former touring professional bodyboarder ,she was 1998 National Woman Bodyboard Champion.In 2002 Zory started a swimwear company call Natty Swimwear ,then incorporated with West Coast Surf Shop PR and became Natty Surf Inc. Early in the 2000's Zory suffered a hip injury that forced her to stop bodyboarding, but she quickly fell in love with short board surfing and after a decade of perseverance ,became Regional Masters champion in 2010 ,7th in World Surfing Games in El Salvador and held her regional championship though 2012. Since 2017 ,following the devastation of Hurricane Maria, she relocated to the North Shore of Hawaii to continue raising her daughter and to continue her love for surfing and to continue work at what she does best: her 5 star rated Natty Surf Lessons ,in 2023 she became the first trained woman surf coach for the "Wai Kai Standing Wave Park" and she also works in the retail department at the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay,mainly at Surf House,a high end surf shop.....This "Living Legend of Surfing Award ",she is to receive is huge ,it is the same as being inducted to a Surfing Hall of Fame and no surfer athlete would ever want to miss attending and receiving this award in person at the ceremony ,that will be in late January 2025. But with the high cost of everything in Hawaii it's hard for people ,especially a single Mother like Zory to just pack up and travel to be honored for her Life Time Achievement . So please donate what you can to help Zory make it back to her homeland and shine during her prestigious award. All the proceeds will go to covering Zory's rent, her air fare and have to have a few special surfboards shaped by Bret Marumoto to surf in the 2025 Legend Surf Classic at Rincon Puerto Rico.
