Help Zvonimir walk again

This is my friend Zvonimir Filipović. He is 29-year old professor of Croatian language and literature in Zagreb, Croatia. In February of 2016 he got a bacterial brain stem infection and fought for his life in the next 5 months. He completely lost ability to move, talk, eat or drink on his own. He had feeding tube and only way of communicating was with his eyes for yes or no. When he started his rehabilitation the doctors told him that it could get better, but the process will take a long time. They say it’s gonna take years to recover. Fortunately, rehabilitation process is going well, but it’s expensive so he needs your help.

Every day he’s going to physical therapies, facial electro therapy, speech therapies, hippotherapies (horse riding) and soon starting with robotics. He can slowly walk with the help of one person, he can eat and drink on his own only with his left hand as the right one is not in good shape yet and he even started to talk again. He was a teacher in elementary school and now he’s learning to talk again. 


His girlfriend was beside him all this time and they live in rented apartment in Zagreb. She’s in college and taking care of him so they have no income. Family and friends are helping them as much as they can. They are at the end of their previous donations and we decided to ask you for help.
