Help Independent Brand Ambassadors Meet their Expenses During the COVID-19 Crisis
Thanks for your interest in our fundraiser for brand ambassadors, some of the most important people in the experiential marketing industry.
The experiential marketing industry employs some superstar brand ambassadors, the front line workers who endure so many late nights and weekends under incredibly stressful conditions.
Unfortunately these all-important colleagues suffer a triple-whammy in the COVID-19 crisis:
- They are almost exclusively independent contractors
- They were the first to lose their work when events began canceling
- They will likely be the last to get rehired as the crisis winds down
Join us in raising funds to help these all-important team members meet their personal and family expenses due to COVID-19.
How You Can Help
First, you can make a donation via this GoFundMe page. 100% of the funds received will be given to brand ambassadors to meet their daily living expenses. Our initial goal is to raise $25,000, but will gladly extend the goal once we reach that threshold. See more details below.
Second, you can help spread awareness of the campaign by sharing this GoFundMe page on your social channels (along with a personal plea) and/or reaching out to your colleagues on an individual basis. We all know people beyond ourselves who have benefited from experiential marketing and we bet they will be anxious to contribute!
When sharing on social channels make sure to use the hashtag #help4brandambassadors!
Allocation & Distribution of Funds
This fundraiser will grant a minimum of $1,000 to each applicant that meets the criteria (see next section below), in the order that qualified applications are received, until all funds are exhausted at the end of the fundraising campaign. For example, if we raise $25,000 we will grant $1,000 to the first 25 brand ambassadors who apply and meet the criteria. Funds will be distributed within 48 hours of the conclusion of the campaign.
