Help Dominic get home and go to university

Update October 28th, from Dominic:
Dear friends,
I just want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who contributed to my fundraiser. Your kindness, generosity, and support have truly changed my life in ways I can hardly put into words.
Thanks to your contributions, I am now able to cover my water and electricity bills, which has brought me such peace of mind. I can also pay for my accommodation, which means I have a temporary place to reside as I handle other matters. This has taken a huge weight off my shoulders, and I am beyond thankful.
None of this would have been possible without you. Whether you donated, shared the fundraiser, or simply sent words of encouragement my way, your kindness will always stay with me.
You have given me a financial relief. You’ve given me hope and the ability to focus on pursuing my education journey and building a brighter future. I am forever grateful for each of you, and I can't thank you enough for being there for me during this challenging time.
Sending love and blessings to all of you!
With endless appreciation, Dominic

Hi Everyone,
I am Sil and I started this fundraiser for one of my old classmates, football teammates and friends from high school. Dominic and I both studied at Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong from 2017-2019. Afterwards many of our peers (myself included) went to study at university and many of us went to the United States on the Davis Scholarship. Dominic applied too, but could not afford to go and pay the fees the scholarship didn't cover. So he spent the next few years in Kampala, Uganda living, studying and working. After not being able to pay his rent he is currently being evicted and will have to leave to go home to South Sudan.
This money raised through this go fund me will be sent directly to Dominic through Western Union for him to pay off his debts and avoid legal issues, it will further help him get his life back on track.
Furthermore, Dominic would still like to attend university in the USA and receive the Davis Scholarship so that he can get a degree and the future options that come with it. With this we could use help.
A couple of us (LPC alumni) are in contact with Dom and helping out if you'd like to help too, it would be greatly appreciated. Send Dom or me a message on facebook and we'll add you to our groupchat.
Thanks you for reading and your support,
