RICKY IS UP AND ABOUT!

Veteran Jamaican audio systems engineer, Ricardo (Ricky) Aikman, had been living in pain for several years, due to Stage 4 (severe) Osteoarthritis, which caused both of his hips to deteriorate to the point where they needed to be replaced.
After scrimping and saving for a few years, Ricky was able to undergo surgery to
replace the left hip in late 2018.
However, the lack of funds since then, exacerbated by the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the entertainment industry since early 2020, forced him to struggle in an “unbalanced” way, so to speak.
The unrepaired hip continued to deteriorate and became a source of excruciating pain for Ricky every single day.
After a bad fall, Ricky's situation became even worse and the campaign was restarted with a view to helping him to get the needed surgery which had become urgent.
Thanks to God and everyone who rallied to his aid, Ricky finally underwent surgery and is now on the mend.
Ricky's gratitude is deep and unending.
