As many of you know, my niece Ava Burnett, an energetic 9 year old who loves her friends, family and reading is fighting cancer.
In order to make sure Ava gets the best treatment possible, her mom (Joelle) and her sister (Chloe) have to travel to and from Portland hundreds of times over the next three to six months, sometimes staying in Portland for weeks at a time. While anyone who knows my sister knows that she will make sure that Ava gets the best treatment no matter the cost, she is a single mom and Ava's treatment is going to be expensive and burdensome.
In order to help ensure that Ava, Joelle and Chloe feel supported over the next three to six months and in order to help them make ends meet, we are asking for your support. Any amount helps!
