Help Aviva and the Penguins finish their record

Aviva and the Flying Penguins need a little boost over the top. We are recording two awesome songs, written by Aviva and rehearsed outside after hours at Golden Drops Cafe. All conceived and done with no budget. You heard that right folks, recording a record with a budget of zero dollars. Heritage Recording Studio donated the studio time for basic tracks which are recorded as we speak We recorded Aviva's ukulele, vocals and background vocals, my bass parts and Bobby Andre's percussion sensations. All performed out of their commitment to the project and kindness of their hearts. Our dear friend Sonny Tackett donated his time to record some acoustic and electric rhythm guitar tracks on the record as well. We are back home in Atlanta now and need to put the finishing touches on the songs. Mostly the overdubs will be done on my portable Pro Tools system and some mics borrowed from The Vault Recording Lounge Lounge all donated by me and Kevin Sellors. I have donated my time to co-produce with Aviva, perform on and mix this record out of my belief in Aviva as an artist, the quality of the songs and a understanding that this project is too good to wait for a minimal thing like a budget stand in the way. We want you to hear this masterpiece as soon as possible. It is my job to get this done. I am in charge of the schedule and have promised anyone that was interested that I would see it through to the very end. It is to this end that I write to you today. We just need a little help from our fans, patrons, friends, random people and/or semi-anonymous benefactors(who will remain anonymous to the public but well known and appreciated by us). We need your donations for a few things that we can’t steal, borrow or get donated for free. Those things include but are not exclusively for paying for musicians that Aviva and I consider vital to the project but can’t participate on the record for free (of course they are doing it for a very reduced rate). A fee to have the record mastered so it will sound sonically the best it can, the cost of a limited number of vinyl 45 singles because well… it’s vinyl and other odds, ends and fees that pop up that one never plans for. Aviva Flyingpenguins and I want these songs to be heard now. This is not just an exercise in seeing how cheaply we can produce a quality product. I only know so many people in the business that I don’t already personally owe a favor to. So with that in mind we also need to use some of the donations to help promote and market the record. Now down to incentives. Anyone that donates anything will receive a free download of the record. So donate 5.00 and you have yourself a download. Anyone who donates 20.00 or more will receive a free autographed copy of the aforementioned 45 single including two songs, one on each side just like the old days when you played The Monkey’s Steppin’ Stone until your mother was about to have a nervous breakdown. If so inclined to donate 50.00 or more one will be the lucky winner of a private House concert by Aviva and the Flying Penguins. We will come to your house and play an hour set. Anymore money than that gets everything mentioned above, plus a hardy handshake and a certificate bought at the card shop, filled out personally by Aviva and notified by my expired notary public stamp ( I really used to be a notary public ). We want you to be as excited about this record as we are and not let it be released only to see it slip off of the face of the earth into obscurity for perpetuity. We are so serious about getting this record heard that we would go door to door if we thought that canvassing the neighborhoods would help. With your belief in the record whether it be donations, purchasing and downloading the record online or just listening to it and telling everyone you know how good it is and how their lives are empty without it.
