NOTE: this money will be used for expenses relating to my mom's cancer treatment as well as living expenses while she is out of work until she can start getting disability benefits. Any extra money will be used for my summer college classes. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Brendan, Rhonda is my mom. Recently we were given the news that my mom has 8 lesions in her brain… Last year she was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through 8 chemotherapy treatments over 16 weeks followed by a double mastectomy. She was in the clear. But cancer is a bitch! Mom started to have really bad headaches, and eventually it got bad enough to take her to the ER. There we discovered that her cancer metastasized to her brain. For the most part her prognosis actually looks good; she is due for a procedure called the Gamma Knife on 5/29/15. However, my mom is unable to work in her current state, and likely won’t be able to work for quite some time. We are asking for donations to cover any expenses she may have, and also to help me pay for summer college classes so that I can graduate nursing school on time next May. Classes will be $1700.
