Help Brent Fight Stage IV Colon Cancer
Donation protected
2024 UPDATE:
Brent has now been fighting his Stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis for nearly 2 now! We are so very thankful he is still with us and fighting as hard as he can. After taking round after round of chemotherapy every 2 weeks for 16 months, he received the promising news that his cancer was in remission. His medical team was preparing him for surgery to remove some the existing tumors and reverse his ileostomy bag. While waiting for his body to heal and build back up from the toll it took from the chemo, the cancer came back with a vengeance. He is back on chemo and continuing to fight as hard as he can.
This entire time, he has been using nearly half of his monthly check to pay for his medical insurance so that he can receive his life saving treatments. After paying his bills to keep the lights and heat on, he struggles to simply afford to buy his prescriptions and put food on the table. In order to continue to fight this disease, he needs your help. Please consider donating anything you can spare to his fundraiser. He needs our prayers and help now more than ever.

Hi everyone, my name is Justin Rectenwald. My best friend, mentor and hunting partner, Brent Crutchfield, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in May 2022 that had spread to his lungs and liver. Brent will require chemotherapy and surgery to remove the tumor from his large intestines. With the help of his family, we are organizing this GoFundMe to help him fight this disease.
Brent is only 57 years old and is continuing to fighting for his life and is ultimately in God’s hands. The doctors are confident in his treatment and we hoping for a full recovery. He will need every prayer he can get and could use all the uplifting words of encouragement as he sets out to battle this cancer. Brent will be out of work for the next several months and will need help paying for his bills, food, and his medical treatment.
We are asking for anything you can spare to help Brent make it through this life changing event. PLEASE consider contributing to this fundraiser to ease some of his worries. More importantly, please pray for him daily as he fights this fight.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 NIV
