Carol Ritchie Hooper Flood Recovery
Donation protected
Carol Ritchie Hooper has spent her life serving others and doing so with the kindest heart and a smile on her face, and now it's our turn to help her! As many of you know, Carol is facing a total loss of her home and vehicle in the recent South Louisiana floods. Her home is not covered under flood insurance, as it not in a flood zone. This disaster that experts are calling a "Thousand Year Flood" dumped more water in two days than California has experienced in the past 6 years! Ninety percent of homes in her community have experienced flooding, with an estimate of 75% loss.
Carol and her children have been innundated with phone calls, texts, emails, Facebook messages, etc from family and friends across the country wanting to know how they can help. This is how! We have faith that she will eventually receive some sort of help from FEMA and other disaster relief organization, but in the mean time, so many things need to be replaced. Carol left with only the clothes on her back and now has none of the material things accumulated over a lifetime. She was only a year and a half from retiring and has not been in the best of health recently. Carol needs our help!
Let's show Carol the love! No amount is too small to donate and if you aren't in a position to help monetarily, please remember her and her family (2 of her kids have also experienced loss in this flood) in your prayers.
Thank you so much!
