Medical Fund To Beat Cancer
Donation protected
My husband has cancer. That? was more difficult to type than I could ever have imaged. Chad is a 44-year old US Veteran. He is a loving father of four, ranging from six years old to twenty-four and a grand father to three.
He is intelligent, resourceful, hilarious - and he's my best friend. A little over a week ago, after going to the hospital for stomach pain, the doctors decided to check his gallbladder and seen it was functioning at 6%, so they decided to remove it. They figured, while they were in there, they would take out his appendix as well since it looked 'murky'. They found a cyst and the surgeon said "It's nothing to worry about though, the surgery was a success"
The pathlogist thought differently. My husband was diagnosed with Singnet Ring Cell Carcinoma of the appendix. It is very rare, it is bad and it is aggressive. The news shocked everyone including the doctors. To say our lives were turned upside down would be the understatement of the century. But we're going to fight it and we're going to fight hard.
I have been on contact with some of the leading specialist in the country with respects to Cancer of the Appendix. We will be flying to Balitmore to speak to one directly and God Willing, have him do the surgery if Chad's VA Insurance will approve it. (Military)
However, in the mean time Chad is unable to work. Between recovering from Gallbladder surgery, to taking tests, travelling for consults and then the surgery itself - he will be out of work for a miminum of three months. I will move mountains to help my husband beat this. The phrase "give up" does not exist in my vocabulary. But I am not super woman.
So I am doing something that I've rarely done in my life. For those who know me, know this is out of character. For those who don't, know I am sincere.
I need help. I have the most rewarding job in the world but between Medical bills, travelling and Chad being unable to work - it is going to be beyond difficult.
So I am reaching out - and I am praying that some people out there can reach back. Whether it be $5 or $50, every contribution would be an amazing gift.
If you're unable to help, I absolutely understand. If you could share this with your friends or if you could send up a prayer, that would also be a very welcome contribution.
My husband has A LOT of reasons to live and we ARE going to beat this. We know it will be a long road, but we're prepared to go to the end of the earth to kick cancer's butt.
I thank you in advance for any help in donating, praying or spreading the word you can offer. I will be forever in your debt.
I Love You Chad! xoxo <3 We've Got This!
