Help Cody Drive

Hi Everyone,
On September 11, 2009, during a high school football game my life changed forever when I went after the quarterback, and made the tackle. But in a split second, something felt wrong. I was down and couldn’t move. My face mask had hit the quarterback’s leg, breaking my neck at the C5 level and I was instantly paralyzed at just 16 years old.
I've spent the last 5 1/2 years in a wheelchair and since this day I have dedicated my life to therapy, hoping to get enough strength back to be independent. Life has been a challenge but I've accomplished many of the goals I set for myself. I now have a new goal that is the last step for me being fully independent and I really need help with it. A spinal cord injury is one of the most expensive injuries and as an only child to a single mother, we've had our struggles, but we always pull through.
My new goal is to drive and this consists of driving school, buying a truck, installing a special seat that makes it easier for me to transfer in, hand controls that allow me to push the gas and brake, and a crane that'll lift my wheelchair in the back of the truck.
A lot goes into this and that's why we'd appreciate any type of help or donation. This is our first time asking for any type of help because expenses have really caught up to us.
