Help Us Find Jesse

Jesse Galganov, 22, left Montreal last month for what was supposed to be an eight-month backpacking trip through South America and Southeast Asia, but he only got as far as Peru.
Jesse began his trip to Peru by spending a few days in Lima. On September 28th, he took a bus to Huaraz, a small city in northern Peru, and arrived there at 6:30 am. That day, he informed his mother that he was planning to trek the Santa Cruz trail, a 50-kilometre hike through the Cordillera Blanca mountains, and would be out of communication for 3-4 days.
Since September 28th, Jesse has not been heard from by his family or friends.
We are raising $100,000 to pay for resources, to set up highly targeted PR campaigns (Facebook ads, Instagram ads, etc) and to assist with the costs associated with specialized search teams. We are looking to raise the funds ASAP.
With unity, we will be able to bring Jesse home. Any excess money will be donated in Jesse's name - as per the instructions of his mother, Alisa.
----------------------------------------------------------------------My name is Ben Bright, a fourth year Business student from Montreal, Canada.
Jesse and I grew up together in Montreal. We share numerous mutual childhood friends. We were involved in extra curricular activities together as teenagers such as, organized sports, and often found each other in the same social settings.
A group of Jesse’s close friends and I are working directly with his immediate family, including Alisa Clamen; his mother and Todd Galganov his father who are desperately searching for their son in Peru.
As of right now, we are using the funds to create awareness about Jesse in the local regions he had visited, and had planned to visit. More specifically, we are using digital media targeting tools such as Facebook ads, Instagram ads, and paid news ads to create local awareness. We have received support from celebrities, such as Lindsey Lohan, Neymar.Jr, Steve Aoki and much more! As well, funds will be allocated to alleviating on the ground costs in Peru for Alisa and Todd, who have set up a private search team for her son.
Anne Marie Boucher, is in the process of setting up a trust account on behalf of Alisa, Jesse’s mother. Once it is, we will withdraw the funds directly to the fund / bank account set up by Alisa and her team, which include Anne-Marie. Alisa Clamen, Jesse’s mother is the official beneficiary. The money will be directly accessible by Alisa once deposited into the created account.
