Henry Schlesinger is one of the most caring, giving, and selfless man we've ever met. It's now our turn to give to him in his time of need. Henry suffered a spinal cord injury when he fell from his roof clearing off pine tree branches after an ice storm. He suffered C3 - C5 spinal damage leaving him paralyzed from the chest area down. He had surgery to relieve spinal cord pressure. He now has sensation all over but is still unable to move his extremeties. He was out of ICU for one night but has since been readmitted to ICU for 3 pulmonary embolisms. He has been reintubated and put on a heparin drip to prevent any more clots from forming.
