Help Grl Pwr LA Make A Difference!

Update: Now that we have received our 501 (c) (3) thanks to your generous donations I’ve decided to keep this campaign visible to raise awareness to further our mission of providing self-esteem building workshops and events within the greater Los angles area along with funding our community outreach initiative that seeks to fill 200 self care bags each month filled with essential items to help women fighting homelessness on Skid row. Upon moving to LA I’ve built an amazing Women's empowerment community known as “Girl Pwr LA.” It is my goal to establish a 501 c 3 by the end of 2020 and continue the workshops worldwide. This enables Grl Pwr LA to officially become an established nonprofit organization to receive the grants, sponsorships, and financial assistance to continue providing workshops in the greater Los Angeles area and beyond.

In the past, I have provided these events completely out of my pocket because it is needed in our community and I’ve witnessed the strong impact it has on the lives of women but it’s time to receive financial support to become a legal nonprofit. This will allow me to fulfill my calling I’ve discovered and made these experiences and safe places BIGGER and BETTER! There is a lack of community especially amongst women in L.A. and this, unfortunately, leads to women not feeling inspired and supported to reach their full potential.


In the safe spaces I create in my community events I lead powerful discussions that help women gain a sense of self-love and clarity to lead their best most fulfilled lives. I have witnessed these workshops impact the lives of so many young women and I know I need to continue these workshops in L. A and beyond to continue to bring about self-love, community, connection, and change.

To continue this mission, it is fundamental that the start-up expenses to launch a non-profit are executed including 501(c)(3) fees, website branding, and merchandise
Anything and everything helps. I realize the goal I’ve set could be bigger but once I establish my non-profit I will have the opportunity to apply for the proper grants to receive further assistance that is needed.

If I reach my goal Grl Pwr LA will officially be a legal non-profit! We will also have a website up and running with merchandise (T-Shirts with our logo) to create accessibility and brand awareness. If I don’t reach my goal all proceeds will go towards the event expenses to create workshops including event space rental, food, and supplies. Thank you so much for believing in me and my mission.
