Phoenix and Tom's Cancer Battle

Hello Everyone,
In January this year, my sister Phoenix was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. At age 30 this strong and fiercely independent woman is being attacked by cancer which has also spread to her lymph nodes. For all who know her, she is an energetic and enthusiastic friend, a loyal and loving girlfriend, and a sister that has unconditionally always had my back. Phoenix has to have 12 rounds of 4 different types of chemo, and needless to say, this is not enjoyable.

Phoenix is very fortunate to have her fiancé Tom in her life. They are each other’s world and Tom has looked after Phoenix throughout this whole experience. Tom is a passionate cook and is constantly cooking up different dishes for Phoenix when she feels well enough. As Phoenix’s brother I couldn’t have wished for a better partner for my sister.

So this is where the fundraiser comes in. The first goal is a trip to South East Asia when she is finished with her first cycle later this year. Phoenix and Tom had to fly home early from their Euro trip at the start of the year because of Phoenix’s illness. The second goal is their wedding, which they had planned to do this year, before Phoenix got ill. The aim is 10,000 dollars, this amount will help them towards their trip and wedding, but the real benefit will be showing them how much they are loved by their friends and family.

 The most important thing is for them to know they have our support and love through this hard and emotional time. We all want them to get through this, any donation or messages of love is greatly appreciated. I thank you all.
