Helping a Bayada Family Member in a time of need
Donation protected
Dear Bayada Pharmacy Family,
On the evening of December 9th, our friend and colleague Elizabeth Horton had a fire at her home. A neighbor was driving by and saw the fire broke out from the outside electrical box of her house. He got out of the car, called 911 and frantically rang the doorbell until Elizabeth answered. She was inside with her family getting ready for dinner and was completely unaware of what was going on. Luckily, the family and their pets got out right on time. However, the fire has destroyed one entire side of their home, by her children’s bedrooms. Their family is currently displaced and had to figure out separate accommodations with neighbors. The house is boarded up and may not be habitable until the structural and electrical damage get assessed and remedied.
For those of you who do not know Elizabeth, she is one of the most caring and compassionate people you will ever meet. She is a mother to 5 beautiful children and a wife to a wonderful husband. In the true spirit of the holiday season, we are asking for any donations for her family to defray the unexpected cost of this incident. Through your generosity, we hope we can help Elizabeth and her children feel the compassion from our Bayada Pharmacy Family.
thank you,
Lauren and Mary
