Hello, my name is Vince, Almost 4 years to the day since this unbelievable incident happened to my perfectly healthy son. Nicholas is a 34-year-old college graduate from Fredonia State and a self-taught musician. Nicholas's life changed forever on 12/19/2018 when we heard a loud crash from his room,we found him face down on the floor. Suffering from a Pulmonary Embolism which lead to a severe lack of oxygen that caused a Traumatic Brain Injury. Nicholas was a high school football and track athlete for 4 years at Alden High School and a Buffalo Bills Fan forever. Nicholas is a very respectful, caring individual with the heart and mind to help anyone at any time. Nicholas is presently cared for at home by Mom and Dad and some home care staff. A little over two years ago, We brought Nicholas home as he was receiving neglectful, unsanitary, and understaffed care in the Nursing home. Nicholas has an opportunity to utilize Stem Cell Infusion Therapy treatments (like a lot of medical treatments and huge co-pays) that are not covered. These treatments are expected to improve all areas of Nicholas's life; specifically giving him the ability to communicate and drastically improve his quality of life.
