Helping a Fellow Helper aka Lance

Hi everyone.

My name is Megan and I’m Lance’s big sister. As many of you know Lance has been going through some major back pain over the last month. Luckily he was connected with a great doctor that has been helping him. But with what we could only call excruciating back pain he has been unable to work. He is a self employed contractor who is the main source of income for his 10 year old daughter and girlfriend.

He flew down last week to have a CT guided injection which eventually did help to relieve the worst of the pain but was told they would draw up some plans with the intent being surgery.

He is flying down today (10/21) for his surgery tomorrow. Having surgery will hopefully help decrease the pain he is still having, but with this comes more time that he is not able to work and bring in an income.

Many of you know Lance to be the guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and would give you the shirt off his back. I know through the years he has been there for many and helped people where he was able too. I ask that we now repay his years of kindness with helping be able to maintain his bills/living expenses/medical expenses while he has been and will continue to be unable to work due to this back issue and surgery.

Any amount will help him be able to continue to support his daughter and girlfriend while he is unable to work and your support is greatly appreciated.

Please keep him in your prayers over the next two days for a safe flight and steady, healing hands for his surgeon tomorrow and for a speedy recovery to follow. If you know Lance, you know being unable to move is not something he takes lightly….as he’s always on the go.
