Helping a friend out with funeral costs

About a week and a half ago a friend of mine lost a family member. It's been rough on them and their family. They had to come up with the money for the funeral, cemetery spot and casket. That was an expense their whole family wasn't looking for. I'm making this gofundme to hopefully help them recuperate some of the money. I know it cost them more than $2500 but that's a start. I don't like seeing them sad and also the same thing for their family. No one should every lose a close one. I hope I am able to help them out as much as I can. I been there for them since day one and will continue to be. May their family member rest in peace. Thanks in advance to those who help.
