Giving Back to a Selfless, Generous and Kind Woman

Esther Harris is one of the kindest, most genuine, beautiful, and positive individuals I know. I was lucky enough to have Esther teach two of my children. She showed them endless love and support every day for six years. I have also had the opportunity to work with Esther on a professional level, and have seen her inherent kindness, incredibly strong work ethic, and her commitment to children and the institution in which she works.
Recently, a series of unbelievable and extraordinarily unfortunate events have befallen her and her family withing a very short five-month time span. Illness, loss, tragedy, and death are all currently present in this season in her life. Esther is the type of person who always does whatever she can for others. Right now, I'm hoping we can do something for her.
As a mother, her role as a primary caregiver and support for one of her children through ongoing extreme and severe health conditions has escalated. Esther has spent the last two weeks with her child in the ICU after just having done the same in May.
Her co-workers at The Montessori School of Northampton rallied together to support her at that time and made sure she had all she needed--including love, support, paid time off, and meals. The staff and faculty at MSN have held Esther and continue to do so. They are truly a wonderful group of people.
In addition to MSN, Esther works incredibly hard on a second job. Unfortunately, these emergent needs are taking a toll and these recent complications have resulted in extended periods of lost work time.
Esther has lost essential income from this time away from work to tend to her family while the strain on her vehicle has required continued maintenance. The owners of the garage kindly allowed her to take her car off the lot with a payment plan, but all of the repairs are unfinished and the bill remains considerable.
As we know, when it rains, it pours. This past Wednesday Esther received news that her sister passed.
I am asking you to give to Esther, who gives so much and to so many people so consistently and so selflessly. I want to help restore and refresh as much of what she extends in support of others back to her to ensure keeping her on her feet. With our help, she can continue to do the beautiful work that she does every day. Our hope is that Esther will rest a little bit easier at night, knowing that she is loved as much as she loves, and that relief can be provided so that she can continue to maintain in the face of adversity.
