HELPING A SCHOOL IN BARAAWE (SOMALIA)

Asalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

I want to take this moment to tell you all about Dayax Elementary and Secondary School based in the heart of Baraawe, Somalia - a coastal town in which the large majority of citizens live in a state of poverty.

Since its opening in 2016, the school has worked tirelessly to serve Baraawe's youngsters - with nearly 200 students enrolled at the school being educated in English language studies, Maths, Sciences, Islamic Studies, Arabic and more.

Over the years, the school has become a safe haven for its pupils, providing them with an environment that allows them to develop and express their ambitions and strive towards a better future. However, the school is running on limited resources and it is becoming harder to manage and cater to the needs of all the students.

Our goal is to raise funds that would go directly into developing the school - from the classroom environment, the equipment available to the teachers and students, the infrastructure, the health and safety protocols, the technology, as well as other necessary costs.

We need YOUR support and contribution in expanding the school's facilities and enhancing each student's learning experience.
