Helping Adam get through a rough patch

Hi, I’m a Police Officer in San Francisco and would like to share a story about another SFPD Officer Adam Eatia and his kids, Since 2017 Adam has been going through some pretty hard times. He got divorced and became a full time single dad all while working a full time job as a Police Officer.

He made sure that his kids always came first and spent every free minute with them when not at work. He eventually met someone else and had another child in 2020. When Michael was born, he developed a blood clot shortly after birth and had a stroke. Through Gods Intervention, Michael slowly recovered but only time will tell what help Michael will need as he grows older.

Recently Adam was going through disability for an injury that occurred at work and as luck would have it, when it rains it pours, after starting the process, he exhausted his sick pay and other time balances and is now without a paycheck due to a delay of 90 days for approval for the disability claim he submitted. Adam does not have the resources to pay for his rent and bills for the next 3 months while waiting for the process to be completed.

Along with all that, he faces termination for the vaccine mandate. Adam is a man of faith, and no matter how hard things get, he will never be forced to give up his faith.

Adam said “I lost my house, cars and everything else in my life but I still have Jesus and my sons.”

Here’s a guy in a tough spot that could of easily gave in “BUT HE HELD THE LINE” like everyone else that made the choice to put their faith first, he tried to make ends meet but he ran out of luck. With all those that will lose their jobs I’m sure there will be others that stumble along the way as they push ahead just trying to keep the faith and care for their families.
