Helping Adrionna fight TCell Leukemia

Hello, my name is Ashley and Adrionna is my child!

Adrionna was a happy healthy bubbly child, Till one day during Easter break that all changed. She started feeling sick and weak, not eating and just always tired. She then started complaining of leg pain so we went to urgent care. They did a full viral panel and treated the fevers! The viral came back all negative but Adrionna was still sick. She didn’t want to do anything so we contacted her PCP and they said if her fevers don’t go away and she is still experiencing leg pain to go to the ER. That’s what we did, got to the ER and they did blood work out her on fluids, treated her fevers and gave her antibiotics. Adrionna has never had blood work before nor has ever been in the hospital she was so healthy so I thought after fluids and some medicine we would be able to go home. But my whole world changed when the doctor pulled me aside and advised she was really sick. Sicker then she actually looked. After that conversation we were being life flighted to Danville childrens hospital. She had to have so much blood work done not understanding why she was sick. She then had two procedures done one day and one done the next called a bone marrow biopsy. After the results came back we learned that she has cancer a rare leukemia called T Cell ALL. Adrionna is scared and just wants to go home to be with her family and puppies. Friday April 29th she will have a surgery to put a mediport in and have a spinal tap done with chemo injected into her spinal column. From there we will start chemo and begin the fight to beat cancer !!

Adrionna rarely got sick, she’s a cheerleader for the Wilkes barre Wolverines and hopes to become a teacher one day! She’s confused and does not know why this is happening to her! One day has changed her life forever.

this money will go to gas for travel as her chemo is in Danville every week. It’s to cover medical expenses and bills since I needed to take an unpaid leave from work to be with her in the hospital
