Editing to add: This fundraiser has been created to cover funeral expenses and plot for A’kari. All funds will be released to A’kari’s mother, Ty’Keyah and Grandmother, Cornelia. Cornelia is a long time family friend.
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved A’kari Taylin Mutcherson, age 5, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Pooler, Georgia.
A’kari was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him. A natural explorer and climber, he was full of energy, joy, and curiosity. He loved building forts with his blankets, playing with his favorite blocks and balls, and snuggling his treasured blue dolphin blanket wherever he went. Movies brought him comfort and smiles, especially Moana, where he had a special affection for Maui, the bold and funny demigod.
A’kari attended C.A.B.S., where he received high-quality ABA therapy and flourished in an environment filled with love and support. His beautiful spirit and bright smile will forever be remembered by all who had the honor to know him.
A’kari leaves behind a family who will always cherish his memory.
Though his time here was brief, A’kari’s love, laughter, and light will forever remain in our hearts.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time but the tentative date for his service will be the weekend of April 26th.
