Helping Aleigha with her long recovery.

Hello family, friends, and even generous strangers. This is my niece, Aleigha Sena. On Sunday Feb 13th, this young woman was eager to accept a promotion and begin progressing in her career. She had all her bags packed and was ready to move to the city.

Before she even had a chance to leave town, domestic violence showed it's ugly face. She was ran over by a car more than once and he left her to suffer on the pavement as he sped off. Thankfully he was caught and is in custody.

Unfortunately for Aleigha, that was not the end of her nightmare. She was flown out to a trauma center where she went into surgery to fix a broken pelvis, a stomach wound and a broken back. She has a very long road of recovery ahead of her. She will require at least a year of recovery time and a huge amount of physical therapy.

We are asking for support and kindness so we can help provide some things she will need. She will require a walker, wheelchair, shower chair, and possibly some other items. She will also be making several trips out of town for appointments and check-ups with the doctors and surgeons.
