On October 1st Calla Medig was senselessly killed in the Las Vegas shooting. Jaspers heart is broken for this loss and we all ache with pain for Calla’s parents, Louise and Peter.
Calla had travelled to Las Vegas with her dear friend and roommate Amica Allenbach - also from Jasper. Amica was there with Calla when she passed away. She also witnessed other concert goers that had been shot and endured the chaos that ensued.
Although Amica is an amazingly strong young woman, she has months, if not years, of finding a way to heal herself. Her life is forever changed.
When someone is stolen away too soon, sometimes in grief we forget those that survived. Please help by making a donation to assist Amica through this unimaginably difficult time.
