Helping Barbara get back on her feet

My name is Debbie Jura and on June 22nd, a freak accident injured my sister Barbara. Everyone who knows her knows that she is a vibrant, funny, gifted and infectious person with a passion for life and a beautiful natural gift of hospitality. She loves to share her gift as a chef by teaching cooking (even to the very smallest chefs) or creating beautiful dinners that allow people to break bread and form a sense of community over delicious food.

Barbara moved to Texas a couple of years ago from Napa to continue her career in Texas' up-and-coming wine industry and share her knowledge of food, wine and hospitality.

This accident has broken her dominant right hand/wrist and has required reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, this injury has incapacitated her and she is facing an uphill recovery we don't know how long it will take. Barbara will not be able to work as a chef or wine professional for some time and is at an overwhelming loss of income.

With rapidly mounting medical bills and living expenses I am sincerely asking for your support so that we can help the Barbara that we know and love handle the financial burden this has created and back to her former vibrant self.
