Helping Barry Forbis

Barry Forbis was driving an Uber in late March when something went wrong. Not with the car, apparently. With him.
He pulled off onto the exit-entrance ramp, got out of the car and fell. He landed on his head. Someone saw him bleeding on the ground and got help.
Barry doesn’t remember any of it. The best guess is that he got off the road because he wasn’t feeling well. The important thing is that he is finally home from the hospital, getting better each day, joking about how his sense of humor is better than before the accident. But there is a long way to go.
He suffered a concussion. There was internal bleeding. He had a subdural hematoma. He needed brain surgery. He still has balance and processing issues. His will need who-knows-how-much time to recover before he can even consider going back to work. It won’t be soon.
Medical experts can help, but there are bills to pay and there is income to replace. Barry’s two older children are grown, but he and his wife, Michelle, and their two children, Madison 11, and Camryn, 7, need our help.
Barry has been a great friend, co-worker and mentor to many of us. Anything you can spare will be appreciated.
