To all our family and friends as many of you know, our sister Brisely or Briss as we all know her, was involved in a car accident back in March that resulted in her suffering a trumatic brain injury.
After being hospitalized for seven months she is finally home and on her way to recovering and healing very slowly. Traumatic brain injuries are different in every case with a long road to recovery and no determined time of healing. Brisely’s mother has taken on the very difficult but determine role of being her 24 hour care giver. Even though most of her medical expenses are being covered by health insurance there is still a lot of necessities that are not covered.
Now in normal circumstances we would never ask for donations but with both of Briss’ parents being out of work and taking care of her 24 hours a day we could use a little extra help lifting the strain off of them. So if you can find it in your heart to make a small donation to Brisely’s family they would more than appreciate your kind gesture.

Para toda nuestra familia y amigos, como muchos de ustedes saben, nuestra hermana Brisely o Briss, como todos la conocemos, estuvo involucrada en un accidente automovilistico en marzo que resulto en una lesión cerebral trumatica.
Despues de haber sido hospitalizada durante siete meses, finalmente está en casa y en camino a recuperarse y curarse muy lentamente. Las lesiones cerebrales traumáticas son diferentes en cada caso, con un largo camino hacia la recuperación y sin un momento determinado de curación. La madre de Brisely ha asumido el papel muy difícil pero determinante de ser su cuidadora las 24 horas. A pesar de que la mayoría de sus gastos médicos están cubiertos por el seguro de salud, todavía hay muchas necesidades que no están cubiertas.
Ahora, en circunstancias normales, nunca pediríamos donaciones, pero con los dos padres de Briss sin trabajo y cuidándola las 24 horas del día, nos vendría bien un poco de ayuda adicional para eliminar la tensión de ellos. Así que si pueden encontrar en su corazón hacer una pequeña donación a la familia de Brisely, apreciarían con creces su amable gesto.
