Meet Carter Swallow!!
Carter is a 10 year old boy from Minnesota! He is a outgoing, strong, courageous, and hilarious boy who is just trying to live his life to the fullest every day.
Carter is in need of a living donor to give him a kidney!
Carter was born in March of 2009 with many health issues including a blockage in his bladder which ended up destroying his kidneys. He lives his life in and out of the hospital, several painful surgeries leaving him confused, scared and uncertain. He came to live with his forever family three years ago and they are determined to do whatever it takes to give him a second chance at living his life and finding the perfect match!
The last few months, his kidney disease has gotten worse causing his kidneys not to perform well enough to keep him alive. He’s had three surgeries this year to get him ready for the next and hopefully final steps. His options are extremely limited. His crew is praying hard that they can find his perfect match before dialysis is their only other option. Time is not on their side.
We have decided to share Carter’s story on here in hopes of finding his perfect match. We are asking for donations for the Swallow Family. Matt, Melissa, Kyleigh and Carter could use all of the help they can get! They are going to be switching to only one income for their household as Melissa will be needing to do in home care for Carter.
