Helping Charlotte and yasmin while in hospital

Hi there my name is Angie and I'm raising funds for my daughters school friend Charlotte. who is 7years old and her mum Yasmin. Charlotte is currently in the royal children's Hospital along way from home and missing Christmas with her family and friends.

 

On the 13th of December Yasmin had taken Charlotte to Bendigo health hospital, as she had a high temp for 10 days, with numerous dr visits and antibiotics she wasn't getting better. They discovered at the hospital Charlotte had a fair amount of fluid on one of her lungs, they did surgery that night to drain the fluid and then transfered Charlotte to the royal children's Hospital where she has been since with her mum by her side. Charlotte has been into surgery a few times now as the there has been a few problems with the tubes kinking and not draining properly.

 

With no-one else able to stay with Charlotte due to covid and Yasmin not able to get meals while there, she is spending a fortune on cafe foods and starting to struggle financially. And bringing alot of stress onto Yasmin as she wont have much funds left to go grocery shopping when Charlotte is able to go home, let alone atleast buy Charlotte a few more Christmas presents.

 

Charlotte has missed Santa coming and not being able to open any presents or be with family and friends during this special time is heart breaking.

 

I know to well how isolating and stressful it is to have a child in hospital. with no support for yourself while in with your sick child during the covid times..

 

I'm hoping we can raise a little bit of money to get them back on track when Charlotte is discharged thank you ❣️
