Helping Charlottes Family

It is with a heavy heart that we as a King Eds Family desperately need your help raising as much money as we can for Former Coaches Charlotte and her Mum Amanda.

Charlotte started her gymnastics career at Dynamo, in Southampton, at the age of 2 and moved to Bristol when she was 13 years old, with her mum Amanda and brother Archie.
Amanda started working for both King Ed's and Fromeside in October 2014 and Charlotte soon followed in her footsteps (Charlotte working at both our Yate and Bradley stoke classes.) Now 18 years old Charlotte has been diagnosed with Metastatic adenocarcinoma within her lungs, liver, stomach and intestines. Sadly there is no cure and it is inoperable. Charlotte has made the brave decision not to have chemotherapy to enable her to live what time she has left to the fullest.

There was never a dull moment working alongside Charlotte and Amanda, Charlotte with her loving, funny but sometimes sassy teenage attitude and Amanda's infectious laugh really would brighten up your day. The bond between these 2 was always great to see, they really are the Best of Friends.

These two lovely people made many great friends and memories whilst working at King Ed's and as a club it is now our wish to support them the best we can.

At just 18 years old Charlotte should be out enjoying life but instead has been struck by this awful incurable disease that has left her unable to do the things she loves.

It is a very difficult time for them all as a family, so all funds we raise will go towards supporting and helping them to make as many long lasting memories as they can in the short time they have left together.
