Christal, Joe and their Children Charlie, Danielle, and Ally are going through the unthinkable that no Family should every have to experience. The lost of their beloved Child and Brother.
To our friends and family,
Our Family wants to let you know that our youngest son and brother, Billy, chose to end his life this past week. He had been battling severe crippling depression, for sometime now. Yet, through all his struggles he was able to keep his unique sense of humor, and the ability to light up a room with his jokes and his ever-ridiculous shenanigans.
He Loved sharing time with his mother, helping her do another new project around the home . He was his Mothers go to man. He helped her with the things she needed, opening pickles jars to lifting wood or hulling dirt to the garden. He was delighted to be there for her. He enjoyed many hours bonding with his Father at his soccer games, taekwondo, and playtime with their pet Gizmo. He was passionate about cooking for the family, tatter tot casserole was one of the many dishes he served with pride.
He enjoyed hanging with his siblings, being the baby he had to make himself known that came in all the shenanigan he would pull on them . His love for family was undeniable and no one can dispute that.
Billy wanted mental illness to be viewed as a real illness- not as "something you get over" He would also want us to express his advocacy for the right of those suffering from serve chronic mental illness, like himself, he wouldn't want anyone else fall through the cracks.
He will be be loved and missed always...
