Helping Christina Welch with Medical Costs

Christina Welch of Christina Welch Art recently suffered a Heart Attack. After being rushed to the hospital, they determined she had a 100% blockage in her left artery. Time was of the essence so they quickly inserted a stent. She remained in ICU for 2 days before being released to convalesce at home.

After conferring with the doctor about her test results, Christina was diagnosed with Ejection Fraction- Congestive Heart Failure. Her cardiologist instructed her to limit her activity for an additional 4 weeks. He also prescribed a monthly medication to prevent the rejection of the stent and a medication to help alleviate the fluid surrounding her heart.

Unfortunately, Christina will be unable to work to produce an income to cover these costs. The hospital bill alone is $10,000 and her monthly medications are over $538.00. As you can imagine she is grateful for having survived this traumatic event but is also overwhelmed with the financial burden.

Christina is a beloved member of the fluid acrylic art community as an artist who gives freely of her time and one whose generosity knows no bounds.
