Helping Connie Stay Afloat

A few months ago, our friend Connie was diagnosed with cancer. She has since been in treatment, but that treatment is taxing and expensive. Connie was the breadwinner of her family until her diagnosis, as her husband Clay is homebound and on oxygen. With both of them unable to work, Clay's disability is just not making ends meet. Connie is not able to keep making insurance payments, so they have stopped her treatment for now. Isn't our heatlh system wonderful? Both of their vehicles are currently broken down, making it difficult for Connie to get to any of her appointments. Their home here in Walden is also being foreclosed on. I know times are hard for everyone, but if everyone could give a little, it would add up to a lot. Connie has always been there for me when I needed someone, and I know she didn't just do that for me. She has held many people together throughout the years, and this is our turn to give back... pay it forward. If you can give ANYTHING, please do. If you can't, please share and pray.
