Cora's Road To Recovery - Car Accident Trauma

Cora was in a horrible car accident while driving on the highway when a semi stopped suddenly without hazards giving her no time to stop before colliding into the back of his trailer.

Cora is such a loving, happy and special person.

She's funny (mostly.. sometimes), so smart and doesn't like to ask for help.

She was crushed in her car until they could cut her out of the car as a result of the accident. She received flight for life to Milwaukee and was in the hospital for over a week before being able to go home. The trauma from all the injuries were incredibly painful and severe.

She now had multiple injuries throughout her body including her left leg which currently has rods all the way down and multiple breaks in her leg and crushed knee, the entire left side of her face was crushed and has fractures all throughout, her right hand, stitched from her left elbow to the wrist and a fractured vertebrae on her spine on the back of her neck. It's going to be a long road for her body to heal. Without being able to work at her job any longer getting normal things like food, personal care products, gas and bills will be hard. I want to try along with the friends and family who are able to help her with that so she doesn't have the stress of that as well and can focus more on healing instead.

It breaks my heart when I think of her in that car and the long road she has to getting herself healed both physically and mentally now.

Cora is so full of life and love and deserves all the help we as her friends and family can give. Even after everything and the surgeries yet to come she tries to stay her positive self.

Please help me in helping Cora focus on healing and getting better.
