Helping Dan recover

Hi, my my name is Sharon. I would like to ask you to to help support my friend and co-worker Dan Goertz.

On June 15th my friend was getting ready to pick up his daughter from school. He had a seizure and was rushed to Vernon hospital. Soon after, he was diagnosed with a Left Frontal Parietal Meningioma tumour. He had to leave work due to right side weakness at the beginning of July 2021. Dan had surgery July 30th and returned home 4 days later hopeful for a speedy recovery. Unfortunately Dan was re-admitted for brain swelling and seizures a month post-op. Doctors have been trying to stabilize Dan and stop seizures so he can return to work.

Dan has lived in Vernon most of his life and is an amazing Care Aide and always willing to help another in need. Please help us to relieve the financial impact on Dan and his family to give him time to recover.
