Helping Debbie White, Get a safe Used Car

Hi, my name is Sarah; I am fundraising for Debbie, who is currently homeless in Charlotte, NC. Up until recently, she has been living on the Streets of Charlotte. Sleeping in doorways and fearing for her safety. She gets maybe 2 hours of sleep nightly while on the street. She was part of a recent news story ( Watch Link Below.) Watching her story made me think of the old saying, "There but before the Grace of God goes I." One unfortunate twist of fate could put most of us in this situation. In the broadcast, my husband and I were made aware that Debbie had a job but no transportation of her own. Somedays spends hours on a bus getting to work and getting to the services she desperately needs that are offered by various organizations in the city. I believe that having a reliable car of her own would help relieve the stress of being homeless and spending hours on buses getting to where she needs to go.
She is currently in temporary housing for the next three months. This is encouraging, but she wishes to take on an additional job to provide more of a safety net for her future. The basics of having transportation will turn her life around. She will be free to go where she needs to make a living and safely provide for herself, as my family has been blessed to be able to do.
I have been blessed. I want to help Debbie, who is trying desperately to improve her life. Please join me with a donation to help her get a safe and reliable car and have insurance for one year.
