Helping Douglas Tucker And Family

Donation protected
As some of you may know, our Dad was involved in an ATV accident and was life-lined to Methodist Hospital. He was unresponsive at the scene and remained unconscious for the first day, his breathing was labored and needed assistance, so they did insert a breathing tube. So far we know he has fractured multiple ribs, a small fracture on his skull, a massive hematoma on the left side of his skull and some brain bruising. Today (10/25) he has regained consciousness and the breathing tube was removed. He did suffer through a seizure afterwards but is still in stable condition.

Our dad runs a local plumbing business, Tucker Plumbing, LLC and has worked his fingers to the bone to make his business a success. He is not a “behind the scenes” business owner, while he has employees and a partner, he still does the physical work himself. He also teaches classes at a local college for apprentices who are striving to become journeymen in his trade. Although we may be biased... anyone who knows him can attest to what an amazing human being he is. He is the definition of a hard-working, honest man. The word “no” is not in his vocabulary. He is kind and generous, not only in his personal life but also with his business. His true joys are in helping others in need, his family and his faith.
He and his Wife (and our step-momma) are currently in the middle of an adoption proceeding for our youngest brother Brody (7) and still has another young one, Lucas (12) to care for. Due to this incident he will not be able to work for awhile and has a long recovery ahead of him. We are asking for donations to help them pay for the medical bills and the high deductible they will soon be facing. While they do have insurance, we all know that only goes so far (air ambulance rides are extremely expensive!).
Doug and Autumn are stubborn when it comes to accepting help from others, even though they wouldn’t hesitate to help someone in their situation but I know an outpouring of love, prayers and support would bring a lot of light and relief to them during this time.
We are eternally grateful for any help!!
Thank you and God Bless
- Brittany, Bradley, Lucas and Brody Tucker
