Helping Egyptian dogs from abuse

Donation protected
Hello this is a fundraiser for the bills for Four Paws One Heart Rescue!

My name is Georgia and I rescue dogs in Egypt.
These dogs have been abused, abandoned, hit by cars or sold at a dog market.

This fundraiser is really important because it means the dogs that have been saved are given security, food, a safe environment and vital medical treatment.

At the moment there is 20 dogs under my care that really need peoples help.

Below are some of the dogs that urgently need your help.
Here are their stories and I hope it gives you a insight to what these dogs face and how important it is to have your support.

SIMBA

This 8 year old boy was rescued from the dog market. He was being sold as bait. Simba was found in the most horrific condition, his body had barely any fur.. the fur he did have was riddled with fleas and mites.
His skin was raw red and infected from wounds from fighting and the sun burning his skin.
Simba also lived in this muzzle where not only could he not breathe, but also his eyes were completely squashed. Simba has an eye infection from where this muzzle has rubbed on his face and restricted his eyes. He also has a ear infection which is extremely painful.
If that wasn't enough, Simba has lived on a chain for most of his life.. he has severe muscle wastage and his legs are unbearably painful to walk, stand or sit.
From where he has not had adequate exercise and lack of movement his legs are so stiff and fragile. Just touching his legs causes so much pain for him.
Simba requires treatment for all his conditions and it will be a long time until Simba fully recovers.
But the damage is not just physical, Simba suffers mentally. He is terrified of strangers and shows a lot of reactivity. He does not like the vets touching him to treat him, he is extremely nervous of people, he requires a lot of rehabilitation mentally and physically.
Simba is a difficult case, but I refuse to give up on him because for once in his life he deserves some dignity!
Over time Simba will heal, and he will trust humans, and he will be as pain free as possible, it will just take time. And Simba truly deserves someone to not give up on him.

PEPSI

Pepsi is another survivor from the dog market.
When found he was curled up in a ball being kicked by a child. Another dog that was being sold as bait!
At first Pepsi looked very old, his breathing was seriously slow and he could barely open his eyes. It really looked like Pepsi was going to pass away.
Putting Pepsi in the car was awful because he could not even hold himself up. He was collapsing continuously, the whole journey to the vets I watched him to make sure he was still alive.
While Pepsi was in the vets we were unsure if he would even survive. He was severely dehydrated, he had a temperature of over 41, his body was skin and bones, his body was full of wounds from where he had been bitten by dogs, he was infested with fleas, ticks and mites. His eyes were so inflamed he could not even open them.
Every visit to the vet was so upsetting because Pepsi just laid there still unable to lift his head.
Somehow, and I still don't believe it but Pepsi recovered.
When he was rescued I really believed he was very old, but now its clear he is still very young!
The turn around of his condition is just a miracle!
Now Pepsi lives on a farm where they board dogs. He is waiting to find a forever home, but in the meantime I have to pay for his boarding costs which is £5 a day.
I really need your help to give Pepsi the security he truly deserves.

BELLA
Bella is another survivor from the dog market. She had been used for breeding and kept on a chain her whole life. Then when her owners could not make money from her from breeding, they decided to exploit her one last final time.
They took her to the dog market to be sold as bait.
Bella was rescued and taken to the vets immediately.
It was clear she had bad legs as she could not urinate properly. She would sit and have her stomach on the floor when going to the toilet.
At first we thought she may have a urine infection, but we ran tests and she actually had a VERY old dislocated hip injury.
For god knows how long Bella has been in immense pain, having litter after litter, and the way she goes to the toilet seems as if she was locked in a cage and she had become accustomed to crouching down when urinating.
All of this suffering over these years is horrific to imagine, the thought of how much pain Bella must of been in.
Because of the cruelty and negligence Bella now has Bella has severe ossified osteoarthritis along with serious muscle wastage. She requires surgery to fix her dislocated hip, medication for her osteoarthritis and rehabilitation to rebuild her soul because Bella has really faced the worst kind of humans.

NILE

I found Nile alongside the river Nile ( hence the name).
This picture is actually very deceiving because Niles pelvis was completely shattered. In videos I took you can see how damaged his body is. Nile was only walking because for months Nile has been left to suffer on the streets after being hit by a car. I found him being attacked by street dogs, he was completely emaciated, unable to run away, and was barely able to walk! He had clearly been unable to look for food and drink.
Nile was completely feral, catching him and putting him in the car was extremely difficult. He was trying to bite, run away as much as could, he was very very aggressive. But we understood he was not a bad dog, in fact he was just terribly scared and traumatised. His whole life he had lived on the streets, then someone callously ran him over, and for a very long time Nile has seen people walk past him like his life meant nothing. OF COURSE Nile would hate humans, I despise them too!
The worst part is I found Nile outside the hospital.. A HOSPITAL !
You would think someone would have a heart or seen Nile on the way to work and want to help... but maybe it was fate I found him.
Now Nile is in the vets, he requires surgeries and serious rehabilitation. He is still a terrified boy. But like all the dogs, I wont give up on him because he has had enough disappointment and neglect , he deserves a chance.

Grace

Sweet Grace...
This girl was rescued from dog fighters. She was kept on this chain and used as bait. Before she was used as bait she was being bred from! Maybe her litters were weak or she wasn't successful in exploitation, so they decided she was better as bait!!
I found a video online of her being mauled by multiple dogs. Once I saw this video I saw red, I could not unsee it. I made it a mission to save her because her cries and screams were haunting.
We found her address and went to visit her owner. Her owner believed she was fine and refused to hand her over, so we had to bribe and pay him!
Grace was covered in deep severe wounds all over her body from where she was savaged. Maggots were riddled on her body eating her skin. Grace absolutely stunk from maggots and infection. Her neck was just completely savaged. Her ear was practically hanging off. Her legs had open wounds from the dog bites. Her pads on her feet were ripped open. Words don't actually emphasise the extent of suffering Grace had. It is one of the worst cases I have ever seen in my life!
Grace has since recovered thank god, her wounds have healed and she is waiting to go to her forever home.
We thought Grace was perfect, booked her in to be spayed and the vet found the last stages of pyometra. THANK GOD she had surgery when she did because her future would of been devastating.
But the saddest part about her surgery, although her pyometra was stopped, while under anaesthetic the vet found her kidney to be severely enlarged.
Her kidney has such trauma and inflammation from where she was beaten by her owners.
Poor Grace has had the worst most cruel and evil life, she is another girl who just deserves the best, most finest and happiest pain free life. Grace is an angel and she will receive the whole world.

Here are just some of the dogs, there are many more and their stories are all heart breaking each in their own way.

When you donate your money goes towards vet bills, food, transport, and boarding.

As soon as the dogs are rescued they are taken immediately to the vets. They receive the most urgent treatment that's required. They receive blood tests, any further treatment that is needed, Then they are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, surgeries if needed, and rehabilitated back to full health.

Once these dogs are fit enough to leave medical boarding they are moved onto the farm which boards dogs.
The live here until they find their forever home.
Your donations help to cover boarding costs which provide shelter, food, exercise and further rehabilitation.

Sometimes funds are used for transport for the dogs. This is to either pick them up from the street, transport them to the vets, or to take them to the farm once they are recovered.

Every penny is only for the dogs benefit. The dogs are so reliant on peoples support.
Without you the rescue of these angels would be impossible.

The current outstanding bill for all the dogs is £2000.
This rises every day as every dogs boarding costs £5 a day. As you can imagine this bill increases weekly to huge amounts that seem unbearable.
The dogs are so desperate for your help.

I have set the goal on the gofundme to £6000.
This is an excessive amount but if this goal is reached it means the dogs boarding costs will be covered for 2 months.
There is 20 dogs, and each dogs boarding is £5 a day.
This does not include surgeries, vet trips, medications etc.

Please I really need your help for these dogs.
