Helping Elijah continue and stay in college

Hello everyone, my name is Elijah Hildreth, and I am 19 years old and from Norristown, PA. I attend

Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA pursuing a degree in Computer Science / Information Technology

major. As a student, I have always taken my education seriously and have worked hard. In fact, I have

pushed through my freshman year even dealing with some myopericarditis flare up.

While I am thrilled to have this opportunity to continue this education at the collegiate level, I am also

faced with a significant financial challenge. Despite working hard to save money for my college

expenses, I am unable to get the financial assistance that I have in the past from my parents.

My father was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and has been out of work since July of 2022. It

has been financially difficult for my family, and I am hoping to lighten the load by asking for help to stay

in college. I have tired to apply for private loans but as a college student, I do not have enough credit to

do so, which would help fund my education.

As a result, I have decided to create a GoFundMe campaign in an effort to raise the $8,000 to complete

my sophomore year. I am currently working and saving as much as I can to go towards my $8,000

balance. I am humbly reaching out to friends, family, and others in my community for support, in hope

that I can gather enough donations to help me continue pursuing my education and finish my

sophomore year!

I do understand that times are tough for everyone and that many people are facing their own financial

challenges. However, if you are able to contribute to my GoFundMe campaign or know others who can,

no matter how small the amount, it would mean the world to me. Every little bit helps, and every donation

will bring me one step closer to achieving my education goal.
