Helping Erica Battle a Brain Tumour

Hello, My name is Erin and I’m setting up this fundraiser for my sister Erica and her husband Andrew and their children Zach and Alyssa.

In January 2022, Erica was diagnosed with a large brain tumour and due to sudden worsening of her vision from pressure on her brain, she’s been taken off work early and is soon facing a 10 hour brain surgery.

This surgery will have her off work for 3 months, and possibly longer if she needs radiation afterwards, or has deficits post-op.

I would like to help reduce the financial burden that this will have on her family as she does not qualify for short or long term disability, and her husband will have to drive back and forth to the hospital in Kingston, for follow up visits.

It is my hope that through this fundraiser Erica will feel the love and support from her family and friends, and feel less stressed about the financial cost of being off work, so she can focus 100% of her energy into battling this tumour during her long road to recovery.
