Helping Feed Guatemala With Food and Jesus

Hey, I’m Alex and my daughter’s name is Taytum. Our church, The Point in Pensacola, Florida, is going on a mission trip to the Guatemala Highlands. We are trying to help reach the people there with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The people in this region also struggle with malnutrition. 62% of children under the age of five are chronically malnourished.

We will be going not only to share the love of Christ with them, but to lend a helping hand by building greenhouses, showing good hygiene techniques, and installing water filters. After a youth revival, my daughter Taytum told me that she felt like she was meant to go into missions. About a week later, I received an email letting me know that it was the last week to sign up for our church’s mission trip. I feel that God is calling us on this trip. Where He leads you, He will always make a way.
