Helping Garrett’s Family

Most of you know that we lost Garrett Byrum on February 25, 2022. It was completely unexpected and devastating to everyone that knew him. Garrett was only 31 and had his entire life ahead of him.
To know Garrett was to know love. He gave his heart to everyone he knew and could never go anywhere without making another new friend. If you needed $5 and that’s all he had he gave it to you. He’d literally give you the shirt off his back if that’s what he thought you needed. No sacrifice was too great for his family and friends.
If you knew Garrett then you know he was a loyal Bengal’s fan. He finally got to see them make it to the Super Bowl before he left us. He and Heather, his lifetime love and wife, went to a game recently and he was so excited that day. He truly put his heart into anything he did. Jelly Roll was his all time favorite musician. Garrett would say he felt those lyrics in his soul.
The only thing he enjoyed more was spending time with family and friends. He and Heather had more than half of their lifetimes together. They were inseparable from the day they met in high school. Over the years the created two beautiful children. Alixavier (Xav) is 9 years old. Lillian (Lilly) is just 3 now. Heather is facing something that she should never have to face alone. She’s going to have to be Mommy and Daddy now. Heather and their children are going to need our help to get her through this. The thing about Garrett is that he took such good care of them that she doesn’t know where to begin and she shouldn’t have to figure it out alone. I’d love to see all of us be able to help her get their lives on track. This page is dedicated to helping Heather, Xav and Lilly with the resources they will need in the future.
Thank you everyone for taking time to read this, share and for whatever you can donate to help them through.
