Helping Gina (Deschaine) Gagnon

On Friday, July 13, 2018, my sister, Gina (Deschaine) Gagnon was diagnosed with breast cancer while she was still in her 1st trimester of pregnancy for her daughter.  She has undergone chemo throughout the 2nd and part of the 3rd trimester of her pregnancy, as well as after her beautiful daughter, Adeline was born. Since then they have found that she now has a cancerous spot on her sternum, which brings her to stage 4.  However, in spite of how it sounds, her prognosis is great. The issue is that she needs to get through the next steps. She is facing a double mastectomy soon and will have to undergo 5-6 weeks of aggressive radiation treatment this fall at the Dana-Farber Institute in Boston, MA.  She is struggling with the idea of being away from her now 6-month-old daughter and fiancé, Travis, while she’s there, so this Gofundme page is to provide the ability for Gina to be able to stay down there, Monday through Friday, with her daughter and a family member during her treatments for those 5 to 6 weeks.  Any help that you can give is appreciated.
