Brendan Vaughn was born April 6, 1987 to Susan and Alan Vaughn of Mesa, Arizona.
To know Brendan, you would know that Brendan loved being outdoors, not your typical outdoors, but one that consisted on riding a Skateboard or being on a Bike. He was one of the most talented you men I knew (still is in my heart). He had a kind heart and loved being around people who really wanted to enjoy life. He loved music but most of all Reggae music and was an avid fan of listening to music and local bands that came to the central Arizona area. He enjoyed being surrounded by life, creativeness, and a zest for life in general.
Today I thought to myself that "B" was a cat with nine lives, as he had his share of that zest for life if you know what I mean. He suffered scrapes, broken bones, sore muscles and anything that was associated with riding his Bike or Skateboard but that never stopped him from being that wild child and sharing his inner kid!
Brendan was a hard worker and enjoyed what he did in his work life. Brendan loved his job at Cheba Hut located on Southern in Mesa, Arizona. This is a job that allowed him to make some awesome friends for life! Brendan also worked as a Prep Cook at Starr Brothers Brewing Company, a cook at Nob Hill Bar & Grill, Prep Cook at Marcello's Chophouse and Chef/Prep Cook at Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. but Cheba hut is where his heart was.
Brendan went to Mesa High School located in Mesa, Arizona.
One of Brendan's Facebook pages showed some Angel Wings that he picked out, this is what it said, "You are the most loyal friend anyone could have. You are courageous and stand up for the people you love, even you must sacrifice yourself. " what a true comment.
Today has been a sad and hard day. My nephew Brendan Vaughn had an encounter (his brakes did not work on his bike) with a truck while riding home on his bike after visiting with some friends at a local pub. Unfortunately, Brendan did not make it.
I hope that when all is said and done Brendan, that your heart finds someone who desires your love and caring for others and your zest for life. And I hope you know how many hearts are broken with your passing. May you find peace, listen to all that good Reggae music, teach your Grandma's how to skateboard (I know Grandma Vaughn would love to learn) and always keep and eye on us while you chill on the other side of the veil...... Love you.. Aunt Sharon
Please if you can share and help, I have started this Go Fund Me page to assist Brendan's Parents with help towards his Medical bill's and Funeral cost's. Brendan leaves behind a son, Tyler, Parent' s Alan & Susan, and two Brother's, Robert & Ryan. Share your fond and loving thoughts for all to know..
