Helping Hand For Ernie Carrillo

Hi, my name is Frances and I am fundraising for my brother-in-law, Ernie Carrillo. On Sunday, March 5, 2023, Ernie was in a terrible vehicle accident that caught on fire, and he had to be rescued from his burning vehicle. As a result of the fire, he suffered third and fourth-degree burns to 38% of his body along with other internal injuries. He was in the Arrowhead Regional Hospital Critical Care Burn Unit for 3 months and underwent several surgeries, debridement treatments, skin grafts and had to have his right leg amputated. Ernie has a long road to recovery and is currently receiving rehabilitation therapy and physical therapy several times a week. Ernie just had additional surgery performed on Wednesday, August 1st and is recovering.

It is not clear if Ernie will ever be able to return to work again. His wife Norma is his 24-hour caregiver and has been unable to return to work. Their lives have been devastated and flipped upside down by this terrible accident. You can help Ernie rebuild his life after suffering from such a horrible event by donating to him today.
