HELPING HAND TO WAYANAD, KERALA
Donation protected
Here its a humble request from Union of UK Malayalee Associations (UUKMA) & UUKMA Charity Foundation for helping the affected people in the natural calamity at Wayanad district, Kerala, India.
UUKMA has helped the mother land after 2018 Kerala floods by building 10 houses collected through by crowd funding and through member associations collections.
As before, we will utilise the funds for projects with lasting impacts on the lives of those affected. At the moment the emergency services and supports are undergoing. We will liaise with the local government officials and make necessary building plans.
Our first preference would be building houses as we did before, but all those will be as per the regulations of the central and state goverments. We aim to undertake projects that will bring comfort to families and communities devastated by the disaster, with the advice from our members from Wayanad. We will pool our resources and funds with our member organisations to maximise benefits for the recipients.
We humbly request everyone to support for rebuilding Wayanad.
Kind regards
